One of the Fortnite’s Weekly challenges is Finding the treasure map location of Retail Row. If you complete this challenge, you are going to get additional XP in order to help go towards your lots of Season 3 rewards. Do you want to take the challenge? Make sure that you will have to be a Battle Pass holder.
By the way, how does the treasure map of the Retail Row work? You have to note that for the Week 7 Challenges, your job is to follow the treasure map in the Retail Row (1 total, 10 Battle Stars). Another Fortnite challenge during Week 7 includes the search for the hidden gnome in different named locations.
Based on the research, Retail Row hides the map which paves the way to the hidden treasure. Not only players with the Battle Pass are going to be allowed to see it, and it features the diagram of where the treasure can be found.
But, you will be able to skip the first step and head straight to the treasure location, as mentioned later on the page, if you want to do so. With the other Fortnite challenges, you need to do these when you play matches, you will not be able to submit the map without other players, so you have to avoid combat encounters when you try to find each location.
We are sure that you are very curious about the location of Retail Row. For your information, the Retail Row is located near the center of the map, off to the west. But, you do not must go there first. The map features a maze that you can find in the center of Wailing Woods in the north east of the map. At the time, it was entirely reasonable to quit out of the game of Fortnite Battle Royale and join the brand new game.
You are able to go to the maze. In order to find the treasure, you need to go the lower left corner (south west) of the maze. After that, you are able to go north, to the dead end just ahead. When you find the right spot the treasure is going to show up on the screen. All that you have to do is to use the button prompt which shows up on the screen in order to collect it.
Once you are floating down towards the ground with the parachute, you are going to find the tower pictured on the treasure map, and align yourself with it so you are facing north. When you actually want to visit the opposite the red and white awning, even though landing at the tower itself and then descending into the maze to find the treasure is another whole viable option. Another tactic is to go into the maze from the southern entrance.
You have to take a note that you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished. Quitting the match as soon as you collect it will not work, so please ensure to keep going.
