There are a number of challenges in Fortnite which take place in Salty Springs. The challenges require you to be able to visit the place and then do some actions to complete the challenges. So, knowing the location of Salty Springs is important.
Salty Springs was added to the map in Season 1. It is located inside the coordinate D4, southeast of Sweaty Sands, south of Doom’s Domain, west of Frenzy Farm and east of Holly Hedges. Salty Springs is a small village and there are houses, a gas station and has a steep, hilly landscape. Formerly, Salty Springs was located north of Fatal Fields, south of Dusty Depot, east of Shifty Shafts and south west of Retail Row in Chapter 1. In Chapter 2, this location has returned with a different design to all the houses and a different location. Also, the gas station moved across the road and recently the gas station was replaced too.
Now, you have known the location of Salty Springs in the Fortnite map. If you have a challenge that you have to do there, then you are able to access the location. In the Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2, Season, Week 2, there is a new set of challenges and one of them is to search seven Chests at Salty Springs. If now you are trying to complete this challenge, you can do it now.
To be able to search 7 chests at Salty Springs, you are able to start it with undoing every roof of every house there. Then, you have to cut out all the bushes and then check every nook and corner of each room to find the chests. The challenge here is very easy to do and it seems that you can complete the challenge fast. Besides this, the other challenges of this chapter 2, season 4, week 2 are:
- Searching 7 S.H.I.E.L.D. Chests inside Quinjets.
- Bouncing on four different dog toys at the Ant Manor.
- Emoting/Dancing on top of three different Sentinel heads at the Sentinel Graveyard.
- Riding a Motorboat under 3 other colored steel bridges.
- Doing Three Eliminations at The Authority.
- Destroying seven boats at Craggy Cliffs.
Previously, in the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3, Week 5, there is a challenge where you have to upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs. You will find a fixed improvement workbench in the garage of the northernmost house on the ground floor. To complete the challenge, any kind of improvement will be enough. If you transform a grey quality weapon into a green one, it will only cost you 10 units of each material. To do this challenge, it is recommended for you to wait for the first or second storm circle to sneak into town and upgrade your weapon. You are also able to use the portable upgrade workbenches that have been added to complete this challenge.
