Epic Games has a program named Support -A-Creator Program. It is a program that allows creators to be able to earn money from Fortnite and games in the Epic Games store. In Fortnite, the creators who are accepted will be able to earn $5 USD for every 10,000 V-Bucks spent by players who elect to support them in-game. Also, it applies to free V-Bucks that players have gotten and any V-Bucks they have bought.
Participants of this program will have a code or creator tag so that other players who want to support them can use the code in the Support Creators button and then the participants will earn money from the purchase done by their supporters.
Requirements To Be Eligible in Support Creator Program
If you want to be eligible in this program, you have to meet these requirements.
- Having 1,000+ followers on at least one major social platform.
- Completing the Affiliate Agreement and abides by Epic’s Creator Code of Conduct.
- Being able to receive payment in a form that Epic supports.
Instructions To Be Approved by Epic Games
Before you are accepted by the Epic Games team in this program, you have to follow the instructions below to complete your application and be a verified Epic Creator. It is done by Epic Team to make sure that you are the real owner of the channel that you submitted.
- First, you must copy your unique verification code.
- Second, you have to paste this code in one of the following places:
In YouTube, paste it at the bottom of your “About” page.
In Twitch, paste it in a panel below your stream titled “Epic Creator Code”.
In Mixer, paste it at the bottom of your public channel description.
In Twitter/Instagram, paste it at the bottom of your profile bio.
In Facebook/VK, n paste it at the bottom of your page’s about section.
- After that, you have to send an email to creator-support@epicgames.com with a link to any of the above.
Then, the Epic Games team will check your link and also verify whether you are the actual owner of the channel. If your application has been fully accepted, you will get an additional email.
Steps To Apply in Support Creator Code
If you are eligible, then you are able to apply there. How to do that? You are able to follow the steps below.
- First, you have to apply by signing in with your Epic account. And then, you have to tell Epic about your channels and also accept the terms.
- If then you have accepted, the next thing that you have to do is share your links and tags to grow your supporters.
- After that, you will be able to earn money from the purchase of your supporters.
If you are accepted, then you can share referral links on your content channels or promote your creator tag to your supporters to get credit for sales of games on Epic Games store. Your supporters will support you as a creator by entering the Creator’s Epic tag via the Support a Creator button.
