Another way that you can do to fix this issue is to reinstall the Epic Games Launcher. However, it will remove all of your installed games. How to do it? If you are a Mac user, you can fix reinstall the Epic Games Launcher by following the steps below.

  • The first thing that you have to do is to close the Epic Games Launcher.
  • After that, you have to verify that there are no processes connected with the Epic Games Launcher by checking Activity Monitor.
  • In this stage, you have to open the Applications folder.
  • Then, the thing that you have to do is to click and drag the Epic Games Launcher application to the Trash.
  • Now, you need to verify all the following directories no longer have any Epic Games Launcher folders or files:

~/Library/Application Support

 ~/Library/Caches

~/Library/Preferences

~/Library/Logs

 ~/Library/Cookies

  • Here, you have to access www.epicgames.com and click Get Epic Games in the top right corner to download the latest installer.
