Epic Games finally announced a new awesome feature in the purchasing system called “Undo Purchase” button. Of course, it is such a big dream for every player in which they totally can cancel their purchase.
In fact, Epic Games allow Fortnite players to return a purchase made in the last 5 minutes. It means that you are totally able to cancel your recent purchase. Moreover, the Fortnite devs do not want to make the players regret buying. So, that’s why the “Undo Purchase” Button is now available in Fortnite.
What is the goal of the Undo Purchase button in Fortnite?
The main goal why the Undo Purchase button launched is to stop the players from accidental cosmetic purchase.
How does the Undo Purchase button work?
The Undo Purchase button feature will allow the player to refund an item which has been purchased in Item Shop immediately after purchase. Then, when you cancel a purchase, automatically the item will be removed from your account. Then, the V-Bucks spent will be returned to your account. But, you are only able to use the undo purchase once for each item purchased.
Why is the Undo Purchase button needed?
Of course, there are some pros and cons to the Fortnite microtransaction system. In this case, the players are a bit easy to purchase the items as they don’t want. Then, they just have three opportunities to refund mistakenly purchased items. On the other hand, there will be an accidental purchases fault in Fortnite microtransaction system. For that reason, the Undo Purchase button really gives benefits for every Fortnite player.
What are items refundable and non-refundable?
In this case, you also have to recognize the items for Cancel Purchase. In fact, there are some items which are refundable and some of them cannot be canceled.
If you want to use the Undo Purchase feature, you have to remain on the purchase page for the item. Then, if you leave the page or the page is asleep for one hour, of course, the Undo Purchase button will no longer be available.
Moreover, if you want to try purchasing the same item again within 24 hours, the Undo Purchase button automatically will not be available anymore for a second time.

- V-Bucks Gifting
- Battle Pass

- Event and Weekly Items (save the World)

Well, as the Undo Purchase button is still workable, so it is better for you to use this feature to return the items that you do not enjoy using.
In fact, Epic Games offers two methods of applying for refund purchase. The first one is so simple in which you can get V-Bucks back. Then, the second one is a bit harder compared to the first one. But it’s a great method if someone goes on a spending spree.
