Challenges in Week 5 Season 9
There are seven challenges in total with three available to everyone and the other four only for players who own the Battle Pass of this season. Here are the challenges of week 5 in Fortnite season 9.
Free Challenges
- You have to be able to deal damage to opponents with Stink Bombs, Dynamite, or Grenades (0/200).
- You have to be able to search chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights (0/7).
- In different matches, you have to eliminate an opponent (0/5).
Battle Pass Challenges
- You need to be able to complete a lap of a desert race track (0/1).
- You have to be able to put trap items in different matches (0/5).
- You have to visit different Wind Turbines in a single match (0/5).
- You have to do eliminations of Sky Platforms (0/3).
As you can see in the title of this article that here we will focus on the wind turbine challenge. It is one of the exclusive challenges so you need to have Battle Pass if you want to complete it.
Where and How To Visit Wind Turbine Challenge
In the Wind Turbine challenge, you have to visit all five wind turbines in the similar match. However, you do not need to be worried about where they are because they are all in the same general area.
Where are the locations of the Wind Turbines? All of the wind turbines on the map are located around one named location and it is Pleasant Park. The town maybe has switched over to wind energy. So, there are a lot of wind turbines which are scattered on the outskirts. Actually, there are more than five wind turbines, seven in total, but you do not have to visit all of them.
The thing that you have to do is go to at least five of the seven wind turbines in the similar match to be able to complete this challenge. If you find an issue where you have done this challenge but there is no notification popping out immediately, then you have to leave the match and start a new one. Or, you are able to wait a while to do the challenge.
It is recommended for you to visit the five wind turbines which form a sort of star shape around the town of Pleasant Park. So, you have to land at Pleasant Park or one of these five wind turbines. Then, you can find a vehicle or you can run around the town to visit all five turbines as you go. You have to get pretty close to each turbine so that it will work. But, most of them are inaccessible. So, you need to use a baller or build your way up there. Make sure to find a baller or gather materials from nearby.
If you have received the notification that you have reached the fifth wind turbine, then you are able to leave the match or finish it. Then, you will receive your reward for completing the challenge. The rewards are 10 battle stars.
