Fortnite players bring down into the brand new island map of Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 2. They found that the latest update is more than a simple visual overhaul. Apparently, Fortnite has added many new mechanics and features on top of the familiar shoot and build moment to moment gameplay.

In addition to motorboats, to enable swim and to shoot bandages at teammates with a Bazooka, Epic has also streamlined the weapon systems by vaulting a large portion of gadgets and guns.

Vault (or vaulted) items is the term used when certain weapons and items which have been released in previous updates are then made unavailable, in an effort to balance the game as it continues to grow and update. This time around it looks like remote explosives, heavy sniper rifle, suppressed small machine gun (SMG) and a Grappler have all been added back into the game. The Vaulted items appear to be the damage trap, bolt-action sniper rifle, a normal SMG and some versions of the rocket launcher. Unfortunately, those items are no longer available in the game. We get information that Orbed noted that the unofficial vault list includes a ton of weapons, useful items like the slurp and gear gained during the recent Batman crossover event. Here are the unofficial full list of vaulted items:
