1. Disk Cleanup
First of all, open File Explorer, under Device and drives, choose the drive in which Fortnite is installed (usually it will be in the C: drive). Then, right click the drive, go to Properties, and click Disk Cleanup. After the scan is done, choose all the check boxes and click OK.
2. Power Options
You need to go to Control Panel, look for Power Options and then click on it. Under Preferred plans, please choose High Performance. If you want to complete the steps further, you will have to download the FPS boost pack that is available to download on the sites such as FusedGT.
3. Set the Priority for Fortnite
After downloading the file and extracting it, you need to go to the Priority Folder. Then, click on Set High Priority. Another thing that should be clicked is the OK button when the pop-up box appears.

The first thing that you have to do is to copy the Additional Command Line given in the FPS Boost Folder. Then, open the Epic Games Launcher. The next thing that you have to do is to click on Settings. After that, scroll all the way to the end and click on the test which says “Fortnite”. The last thing that you have to do is to click on Additional Command Line Arguments and paste the copied commands in the box.
